17.08.2010: P!=NP的一种证明方案[Deolalikar (2010), preprint]. 作者利用已知的K-SAT问题解空间的相变现象说明解空间中N变量的联合分布不能由O(Nc) 个独立参数来完全描述(c为常数),从而得出结论P!=NP. 证明方案引起了数学家的许多争议，是否正确还有待检验.
16.08.2010：随机简单图的边交换动力学过程[Coolen,De Martino & Annibale,JSP 136 (2009) 1035-1067]. 论文给出了一幅图的最近邻图数目的计算公式,并讨论了对随机图进行无偏取样的问题.

我们的研究方向为统计物理及其在交叉学科中的应用。我们关心 的对象包括自旋玻璃系统、随机组合优化问题、信息理论、玻璃动力学过程、复杂网络、生物聚合物。
我们寻找具有统计物理或场论背景的青年博士后学者，以开展自旋玻璃、优化算法、玻璃动力学理论等方面的合作研 究。
The research direction of Haijun Zhou Group is statistical physics and its interdisciplinary applications. The topics of this group include spin-glass systems, combinatorial optimizations and information theory, glassy dynamics, complex networks, and biopolymers.
We have postdoc positions waiting for young scholars with statistical physics or field theory background, for collaborative reseaches on spin-glass, optimization algorithms, glassy dynamics and related issues.

亮点（highlights)
configuration space heterogeneity of frustrated systems
In a recent preprint, Haijun Zhou reported the existence of community structures in the solution space of random constraint satisfaction problems and the ground -state configuration space of finite-connectivity spin-glasses. This work will be helpful for understanding more deeply on the typical-case computational complexity of NP-complete combinatorial optimization problems, it will also shed light on the nature of glassy dynamics of frustrated systems (such as supercooled liquids).
