男,
1962年 7月3日出生于陕西。1978年全国部分省市中学生数学竞赛获奖者,1982年毕业于中国科技大学近代物理系,1983年通过李政道教授主持的CUSPEA 去美国William and Mary大学学习,1986年随导师在位于Colorado大学的JILA研究所从事研究一年,1987年底获博士学位,导师是J. B. Delos 教授。1988年初去哈佛大学做博士后,和A.Dalgarno 教授合作研究。1990年 9月成为中科院理论物理研究所副研究员,1996年被聘为研究员、博士生导师。
主要成绩:
与J.B.Delos教授创立“closed-orbit theory”,该理论有广泛应用。
建立离子(原子)在强电磁场中光剥离(电离)截面的量子干涉理论,建立高激发态的量子经典对应。
提出了几种原子分子多通道问题的解法,并研究了几个重要分子过程在超新星和大气物理中的应用。
目前工作:
量子经典对应,复杂谱和动力学的关系,原子离子与强电磁场的作用,环境对原子离子过程的影响,原子离子过程的调控,原子高激发态,原子分子多通道问题等。
